Sea Watch IQF Chopped Sea Clams folded with tri color bell pepper, scallions, bread crumbs, mustard, mayonnaise, egg and seasonings, formed into cakes, pan-fried until golden brown and served with garlic aioli.
In a large bowl, whisk together the whole grain mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, egg, tri color bell pepper, scallions, salt and black pepper. Mix in the Sea Watch IQF Chopped Sea Clams and half of the breadcrumbs until you can form patties out of them. Divide the mixture into 4 equal pieces, roll them in the remaining breadcrumbs and form them into patties. Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat in a small saucepan. Sear the clam cakes for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they have reached an internal temperature of 165⁰F. Serve with the garlic aioli.
